PASADENA – Industrial properties in Pasadena are urged to prepare for a day-long water shut-off on Tuesday as crews tackle a major water line break near Red Bluff and Bay Area.

The shut-off will impact only industrial properties on both sides of Bay Area Boulevard between Red Bluff Road and Choate Road, potentially extending as far east as Highway 146, with no effect on residential customers.

The city advises industrial properties within these boundaries to make immediate preparations to accommodate the water disruption, which is expected to last a minimum of six to eight hours. However, officials note that repairs could take longer depending on the extent of the damage.

A map provided by the city highlights the general area projected to be affected by the shut-off.
